Lassen Community College Nursing staff and the first Registered Nursing class celebrated the momentous occasion of the new program with a Lassen County Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting on Thursday, January 18, 2024. LCC's Administration, Board members, staff and local community members made a huge presence lending to a standing-room-only audience for the ribbon cutting event.
A big thank you to the Lassen County Chamber of Commerce for partnering with Lassen Community College Nursing to host a fantastic mixer, and to the LCC Café for feeding everyone, extending the celebration. Those in attendance were able to tour the state-of-the-art facility as well.
Banner Health was on hand and generously furnished $12,000 in scholarships to the incoming Registered Nursing students to help support their nursing future.
